Hello my dear friends all over the World,

It will be a hard time, and a crazy time. Within this Corona pandemic, no old way would be the same. I really think the world after this, will be an other one. In this same thought, I think it is like the same in January 1919, after Great War.

But now, we are still alive and we fight for our health, our rights and the persons we love arround abought us.

I want to restart my old plans again, with an nostalgic view.

So it will be a mix between Sudan, Zulu an all Little Victoriain an Edwardinian Warstime.

Hope we see as healthy again,

Best Regards,

New year - new start -

One year is gone and I have to start new. Time and inspiration to do all the things, who are going wrong in the past. There are some pictures about my room to do this, with a big thank you to my heart and beloved wife.

My BIF Projekt will start again. I will paint a little brotish-canadian Brigade with the 27th Regiment of Foot. They will come from India and they are one of the two units, wich will come as british Units.

The other units a the 2nd Batallion, Coldstream Guards, the 11th Hussars and a Batallion of Royal Canadian Volunteer Rifles. There is a show over my workbench...

Mardan or Suakin?

A Suakin Gate Sketch
Now I've ransacked myself: miniatures by Perry Miniatures, Copplestone, Old Games, Castaway Arts and so on. The base plate of my diorama will form a game board of Games Workshop.

In the summer of last year, I started with wall segments and the main gate. The basic colors are available. My drawing, I apologize, is not really good. but she will give a picture of what I intend to do.

I'm still not really sure if I'll show Suakin in Africa or Mardan in North India.
Both cities have to do with the Corps of Guides, insofar as the Suakin was the base of the guides during the Sudan campaign and Mardan actually the headquarters.

What do you think?

May the Great Builder of all worlds guide your way.
