The Life of an Peer

Hello friends,

Yes I still live. And I spent a lot of time with studies and research. In addition, we finally visited again this year my "home" England.
Me in Scotney Castle (The Gardens)
Who says England, especially the south Kent, Surrey and Sussex, had long since, which I can only recommend the month of May or June time to start a tour there.

Sissinghurst
Be in the multicultural Brighton, or the wonderful, flowering gardens. Considering that both, Tolkien and Lewis wrote their books under this impression, I will understand both even better.

We stay in an idyllic country hotel near Royal Tunbridge Wells (Star Borough Manor, Edenbridge) and this was outstandingly suitable as a starting Point.

Most of the warhorses came from Kent
So I have a lot to discover old and new, and hope you soon again often to be able to share it.

Starborough Manor
Emmets Garden
Bodiam Castle
Dover
The photos show only a part of our wonderful expedition in southern England. They show you places, like Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle or the coast from Hastings to Brighton.
Of course, the War Memorial of the Royal Sussex Regiment in Brighton was an essential visit.

Cheers
Gordon
