There are the choosenmen of the 20th Praetoria, called the "Black Watch". There are two Squads of special forces and veterans of the Regiment. They have similar some special equipment and weapons. I use them as an 3rd Platoon of Regiment, an Special Task Command Force ore as old veterans. There are the pics of the first Squad.

This guy is the Liason Officer to the vostroyan/bulgar Command. So he will be an Grenadir Officer in the Veteran Squad....this means the Tschako.

Veteran Squads

Do you remeber these special operation unit ?

I`ve collecded some more minis do build an second squad. So i have plan to great two Veteran Squads (one to everey Platoon) as third unit. Pictures will be come in the next view weeks....

Das Adeptus Assasinorum hat Malal entsandt. Malal entstammt dem Tempel des Vindicare und dient Lord General Gordon bereits seit sehr vielen Jahren. Er begleitet das 20th Praetoria bereits seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten und hat bereits einigen Rebellenführern die Gerechtigkeit des Imperiums zu Teil werden lassen.



Entgegen den Regeln des Tempels, hat Malal auch einige Schüler unter den Soldaten des 20th Praetorian entdeckt und ist dabei deren Talent für das Regiment, den Hohen König und den Imperator zu fördern.
Einer der Schüler ist der junge Staff Corporal Oswald Baxtrey-Martin (Neffe von Lord Markham Baxtry-Martin, dem Chief of Royal Staff), der letztes Standardjahr sogar die Regimentswettkämpfe im Weitschießen für sich gewinnen konnte.




Ein weiterer Schüler ist Sergeant Major Frederik Blenden von den 81th Canadianischen Sturmpionieren. Sergeant Blenden gehört zum persönlichen Kommandozug des Colonels.

Ein Besonderheit ist sicherlich mein praetorianisches Sondereinsatzkommando. Sicherlich ein Widerspruch in sich, denn auf der einen Seite gibt es da die Galauniformen und ein Sondereinsatzkommando wäre damit eine Zielscheibe schlechthin, auf der anderen Seite mag das Einsatzkommando in seinem Konzept nicht dem klassisch praetorianischen Militärstil nachempfunden sein.
Dennoch glaube ich an ihre Wirkung. Man stelle sich Situationen auf Wüsten- oder Savannenwelten vor. Man sieht meinem Einsatzkommando ein gewisse Tarnung an, die eben auf solchen Welten Sinn macht. Bei einem Stadtkampf, müsste man es modifizieren.
Der Beobachter urteile selbst. Wenn das Regiment selbst ausrückt, haben die Offiziere, Unteroffiziere und Mannschaften des Einsatzkommando die Funktion des Veteranentrupps.
